I'm still reading for Fall! Looking for short/flash works of fiction, narrative nonfiction, and poetry that are both personal and connect with the wider world, something only you could write. While there is no theme, here are some questions to think about: interactions between humans and wilder areas and/or animals; changes in the world; how we relate to one another; food and various meanings; or? I read year round, but I start putting out an extra call for submissions about two months before the next issue, which will be in December, 2024. The summer issue of Star 82 Review is now in production. Due out mid- to late-June, 2024. A wonderful mix of art, poetry, and stories, both fiction and creative nonfiction from around the world.
