Star 82 Review Pocket Poems Is Here!

To celebrate six years of Star 82 Review and inspired by National Poetry Month, I’ve gleaned 100 poems from past issues plus 25 black-and-white artworks and recombined them into a new anthology: Star 82 Review Pocket Poems. The content is fully linked online, and the thick pocket-sized book (4.25” x 6.75”) is now available in print through Lulu.com.

Can ChatGPT Help Your Writing?

So much buzz these days about Artificial Intelligence in general and the various chatbots in particular like ChatGPT, Bard by Google, and Microsoft's Bing. A computer-savvy friend has been exploring ChatGPT in particular to see what it does and does not know, what it suggests, what it hallucinates, and how it might be of help in various situations. Recently, he asked me to forward him a submission (anonymously) to Star 82 Review, one I had not yet read, and asked ChatGPT if it "thought" I would accept it. I read the story and considered it first, then read ChatGPT's analysis. I've redacted and changed any identifying features to protect the privacy of the submitter. Star 82 Review 11.4 Is in Production

We have a very special issue coming out the end of December. Star 82 Review  issue 11.4 has so much wonderful art in it that I am having it printed on thicker, glossy paper to make those visual images really shine. It's full of collage poems, painted poems, brilliant short stories, word and image combinations, and more. It wasn't planned, but Yes And ! Stay Tuned!
